Description
This was a commissioned piece I’ve done fort the band of my boyfriend: Room Next Door. It is going to be the cover for their next CD “Ferry Lady”.

The title refers to a figure from Greek mythology – the Ferry Lady is the female counterpart to Charon, the ferry man, who brings the dead souls over the river Styx in Hades.
It is a piece that was hard for me to do – much background work that I am not used to, a lot of little details, playing with light… but it was fun an d a challenge, and I’m quite proud of the outcome.
The lovely ferry lady was made with help of a stock picture from *Tasastock
